Coo-Vars Shellac Primer is a heavy duty, shellac-based coating designed to block out difficult and demanding stains and odours. It is ideal for sealing bitumen, creosoted and tar surfaces as well as preventing bleeding through after the finishing coat has been applied. It embodies heavy stain blocking properties from substances such as nicotine, pen, oils and water stains. It has rapid drying properties and can be overcoated with both water and oil-based paints.

It is a primer and sealer that works on many different surfaces such as timber, wood composites, brickwork, plaster and cement. It can also be used as a spot primer on exterior surfaces.

The Coo-Vars Shellac Primer is available in 250ml and 1 litre to assure you have the choice to suit your priming needs.
